BFI Automation offers a "drop-in" fiber optic flame scanner retrofit for
GE Frame 5, 6, and 7 series gas turbines, eliminating liquid cooling.
We've used this technology for decades on Siemens V models.
You would install our small electronics housing anywhere you want, away
from the turbine heat. Our fiber optic probe and cable then replaces your
UV tube or silicon carbide sensor, bringing flame radiation to the scanner
electronics.
Our scanner is better because...
1) It's Fail-Safe
2) Is repairable (not a $3,500 disposable)
3) It looks for flame modulation so it can't be fooled by background radiation
4) NO LIQUID COOLING
No modification to your control system.
All outputs are available (pulse, 24VDC, 4-20mA, relay, etc).
